5-Day Private Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Midelt

Your private tour begins with a pickup in Fes. We travel south, passing through the charming town of Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. We continue through the Middle Atlas mountains to Midelt, a town famous for its apples, where we'll spend the night.

Day 2: Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we drive through the scenic Ziz Valley with its vast palm groves. As we approach the Sahara, the landscape transforms. In the late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where you'll begin your camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your luxury desert camp for a magical night under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration → Todra Gorges

Wake up to a desert sunrise. After breakfast, explore the desert area with your driver, visiting Khamlia village for Gnawa music and meeting a local nomad family. In the afternoon, we leave the desert and travel to the spectacular Todra Gorges for the night.

Day 4: Todra Gorges → Dades Valley → Ouarzazate

Walk through the towering Todra Gorges before we travel along the "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." We'll see the Dades Valley's unique rock formations, pass through the Valley of Roses, and arrive in Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Morocco," for the night.

Day 5: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, we begin our scenic drive to Marrakech, crossing the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. We'll drop you off at your Marrakech accommodation in the evening.
