Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech → Imi Oughlad → Tiziane
Transfer from Marrakech to Imi Oughlad. Meet your guide and muleteers, then start a gentle trek through oak forests to the Tiz n’Tacht pass. Descend into the Azzaden Valley to overnight in a local guesthouse in Tiziane.
Day 2: Tiziane → Tizgui
A stunning walk through the Azzaden Valley. Discover colorful Berber villages and terraced fields. Enjoy lunch by a river and continue to the village of Tizgui for an overnight stay in a family home, experiencing Berber hospitality.
Day 3: Tizgui → Tizi Oussem → Tamsoult Refuge
Trek up to the Tizi n’Tougdalt pass, enjoying panoramic views. Continue towards the Tamsoult waterfalls before arriving at the Tamsoult refuge (2250m) for the night.
Day 4: Tamsoult Refuge → Aguelzim Pass → Toubkal Refuge
A challenging day as we ascend the Aguelzim Pass (3560m), offering spectacular views of Mount Toubkal. Descend to the Toubkal Refuge (3207m), the base camp for the summit.
Day 5: Toubkal Summit → Imlil → Marrakech
An early start for the ascent of Mount Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Witness a breathtaking sunrise from the summit. Descend back to the refuge, then continue down to the village of Imlil. Transfer back to Marrakech.
Day 6: A Day of Rest in Marrakech
A free day to explore Marrakech at your leisure. Relax, visit the souks, or enjoy a traditional hammam.
Day 7: Marrakech Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, filled with memories of your Atlas adventure.
